A Letter from Tammy on CoVid 19 (coronavirus)
March 27th, 2020
Hello Friends, Family, and Community of Country Care,
I wanted to let you know that everyone is doing well at Country Care. We are doing everything we can to increase our activities for our residents entertainment. We have been having daily themes and the residents have joined in on hat day, pajama day, crazy sock day etc. Pajama day was such a hit this week for residents and staff that we are doing it again next week! If you get a chance to drive by the home, you will notice we have our windows painted with Spring/Easter artwork to brighten up our days too.
I have attached a letter from the long term care ombudsman with contact information. Please let me know if you have any questions.
At this time, we really have no idea how long this lock down will continue. The director of KDHE said he thought the virus would peak in mid to late April in Kansas but really no ones know at this time.
Please feel free to call me or email me with any questions. My cell is (913) 683-3590.
Please keep Country Care residents and staff in your prayers.
God Bless!
